How to Install Barricade 4 in. Bull Bar - Polished Stainless (04-08 All) on your Ford F-150

Installation Time

3 hours

Tools Required
  • 15mm, 16mm, 18mm Wrenches and Sockets

Left side for vehicles with factory tow hooks, Right side without factory tow hooks.


Vehicle with Tow Hooks

If equipped with tow hooks, remove factory tow hooks.  Be careful to keep the bolt plate aligned in the frame.


Vehicle without Tow Hooks

Insert two bolt plates through the end of the frame and into bottom frame holes.

**Note: It may be necessary to remove the lower plastic portion of the bumper to gain access to ends of the frame rails. 


Loosely attach bar brackets to the frame rails.  Mount the Bull Bar to the frame brackets securely.  Then finish torqueing brackets to the frame rails.


Level and adjust Bull Bar as desired.

Torque tow hook bolts to 75ft lbs.
1/2” Fasteners to 65ft lbs.
10mm fasteners to 35ft lbs.
3/8” fasteners to 30ft lbs.
