Description

Advanced Transmission Cooling. The Banks Power Ram-Air Transmission Pan; Black is engineered to improve the cooling efficiency of the Allison 10L1000 transmission by utilizing forced air cooling and increased fluid capacity. Ambient air is drawn through its patented Ram-Air scoop and directed across die-cast fins, helping reduce transmission fluid temperatures to support transmission longevity and reliability.

Construction and Appearance. Made from A380 aluminum via precision die-casting, the pan features CNC-machined surfaces for a smooth, dense, and low-porosity finish. Its external surface includes 22 deep-cut radiator fins, while the interior incorporates 20 heat absorption fins to maximize heat transfer. The pan is finished in a durable black coating resistant to corrosion.

Installation. Installation is straightforward and includes detailed instructions. The pan is designed for a precise fit while maintaining ground clearance, featuring a breakaway Ram-Air scoop to protect the pan from impact damage. No drilling or major modifications are required for installation.

Application. This transmission pan is specifically engineered to fit 2020-2026 Chevrolet and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD trucks equipped with a 6.6L Duramax engine and Allison 10L1000 10-speed transmission. It will not fit vehicles equipped with AEV skid plates.
