Description

The Banks Power Ram-Air Cold Air Intake with Oiled Filter is engineered to improve airflow to the turbocharger, resulting in sharper turbo response, increased horsepower at lower RPM, and improved fuel economy. Designed specifically for diesel enthusiasts, this intake removes stock restrictions to provide denser, cooler air, enhancing overall engine efficiency and power output.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable, heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene, the intake system features a large, smooth airbox shape to minimize turbulence and maintain cool air volume. A massive 51 square inch filter with a smooth transition collar ensures minimal airflow resistance. The intake's rubber elbow, made from EPDM synthetic rubber, offers superior environmental resistance and flexibility to accommodate engine movement without airflow restriction.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed as a bolt-on system, requiring no major modifications. The intake connects directly to the OEM hood scoop and includes a side fender inlet for enhanced cool air intake, making installation accessible for DIY enthusiasts.
Application. This intake system fits the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 HD models equipped with the 6.6L Duramax L5P engine. It is not compatible with 2025 models due to changes in PCV sensor requirements on that model year.
