The Banks Power AAM 11.50/12-Inch Ram-Air Differential Cover; Satin Black Machined is engineered to significantly reduce differential fluid temperatures, improving lubrication life and vehicle longevity. It is designed for high-performance and heavy-duty towing applications where differential cooling is critical, actively directing airflow and optimizing fluid dynamics for effective heat rejection.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from A380 aircraft-grade aluminum die-cast for outstanding strength and precision, the cover features a satin black machined finish that offers a sleek, durable appearance. It is equipped with 304 stainless steel hardware to resist corrosion and includes CNC-machined surfaces ensuring a precise fit and seal.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, making it accessible for professional mechanics and knowledgeable DIY enthusiasts. It replaces the factory differential cover directly and includes all necessary hardware.
Application. Specifically designed to fit the 2020-2026 GMC Sierra 2500 HD equipped with the 14-Bolt AAM 12-inch rear axle. This cover also fits OEM locker style differentials. It is not compatible with Ram trucks that use airbag suspension alone and requires sway bar spacers when an OEM sway bar is installed on Ram trucks.
