Description

The Baer Extreme+ Rear Big Brake Kit with 15-Inch Rotors and Fire Red Calipers significantly enhances rear braking performance, providing upgraded stopping power and better heat dissipation. It is designed for use on the rear axle of trucks and is ideal for drivers seeking improved brake control under harsh driving conditions or heavy loads.
Construction and Appearance. This brake kit features a 1-piece monoblock 6-piston 6S caliper, CNC machined from US-sourced 2618 aluminum forging for strength and light weight. The calipers have a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and visual appeal. Pistons and abutments are stainless steel for durability, while rotors are 2-piece with slot and drill patterns, zinc plating, and a billet aluminum hat to enhance rotor rigidity and cooling.
Installation. Installation is straightforward for experienced installers and requires no drilling or modifications to the vehicle’s rear axle. The system reuses original equipment brake hoses and manual parking brake components for a clean fit.
Application. Designed specifically for 2012-14 Ford F-150 and 2015-18 F-150 models equipped with a manual parking brake. This kit is not compatible with electric parking brake systems or original equipment Raptor wheels.
