This product was designed so that you carry your ladders at a slight angle over the cab, not horizontally. Which makes carrying ladders and long loads more secure. The Rear Bar allows for full opening and closing of the tailgate and can be removed in seconds for storage.

The BackRack Rear Bed Bar simply drops into the rear Stake Pockets of your truck. The two-inch tube runs across the rear of your truck bed with tie hooks at the same width apart as the upright posts.

              This was my first experience shopping with American Trucks for accessories for a new truck. I was very pleased with the selection and wad able to find what I was looking for very easily. I was pleased to see the 'Additional items frequently purchased' displayed as well.
