Justin: If the factory puddle lights in your '07 to '14 F150 are either burned out or extremely dim, well then, it's time to start looking into an affordable LED upgrade like the options here from Axial. Now the LED puddle lights from Axial will replace your entire housing with a new piece loaded with high-powered LEDs all for right around the $50 price point for the pair. Now right off the bat, guys, I do want to make it perfectly clear that these are designed to replace the factory puddle light in your '07 to '14 truck. These are not meant to add the puddle light functionality to trucks not equipped. So, just keep that in mind before buying. Now, if you are replacing your stock housing, then here's a few things you can expect. First and foremost, these things are extremely bright, in fact considerably brighter than those of your stock lights, which typically utilize a dated and dull incandescent bulb. Now that brightness is thanks to the numerous individual LEDs per housing here, which will shine nice and bright at that 6000 color temp, which is a nice bright white light, maybe a little bit of blue in there. Now those LEDs are sealed up in a durable weather-resistant ABS plastic housing, and then topped off with a UV coated polycarbonate lens to help keep things looking good over the years, and shining nice and bright. But now we want to shift gears and get into the installation, and so I'm just going to call this a pretty solid 1 out of 3 wrenches on the difficulty meter, and maybe 15 minutes or so to complete from start to finish. You really don't need to disassemble the mirror much here, guys. In fact, you just need to pop out those stalkers using a flathead screwdriver, panel removal tool, or something similar. But regardless, to give you a better idea of just how things will go down at home, here's an AT customer to walk you through the job.Male Speaker: The only tools that you need to install these Axial puddle lights is just a flat blade screwdriver so that you can reach in there and pop the clip out. All right, so in order to change these out, just take that small screwdriver and pop this little clip here till it comes down. You can pop it out here. And when it drops down just like that, pull these wires out. And plug them into the new wires. And the strip wire goes to the positive. It all comes back up in here, and you're going to want to make sure that this tab goes in first and clip it in.Justin: So, if you're looking to really increase the output of the puddle lights in your '07 to '14 F150 at home, then be sure to check out these LED options from Axial right here at americantrucks.com.
