Description
Premium Carbon Fiber Hood. The Anderson Composites Type-T2 Hood; Carbon Fiber is designed to replace the factory hood on the Silverado 1500, offering enhanced strength and style while reducing unnecessary weight. It provides a durable yet lightweight alternative to the stock aluminum hood, improving vehicle performance and appearance.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted using a vacuum infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, this hood achieves a superior stiffness-to-weight ratio. It features a marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors that protect the surface and enhance the glossy high luster finish. A fiberglass skeleton is bonded to the underside for added durability and structural support.
Installation. The hood mounts using original equipment hinges, latch assembly, and hardware, which are not included. Minor adjustments might be necessary for proper fitment, but no drilling is typically required, making it suitable for professional installation.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 19-26 Silverado 1500.
