      Power Retractable Running Boards. The Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards provide motorized, automatic deployment and retraction to enhance vehicle accessibility. They extend when doors open to provide a wide stepping surface and retract when doors close, maintaining the vehicle’s ground clearance and clean aesthetics.

      Construction And Appearance. These running boards are crafted from corrosion-resistant die-cast aluminum with a military-grade black PTFE coating. The powder-coated finish provides a textured, slip-resistant surface, ensuring durability and a sleek look that resists oxidation and abrasion.

      Installation. Installation involves mounting to the vehicle’s rocker panel and requires drilling. Although designed for plug-n-play connection to the vehicle’s OBDII port, professional installation is recommended due to the complexity and tools required.
