      Description

      Automatic Transmission Cooler. The Allstar Performance Automatic Transmission Cooler (12 x 5 inch) is designed to reduce the operating temperature of transmission fluid, thereby extending transmission life and improving overall performance. It can be used alone or as an auxiliary unit to enhance the cooling capacity of existing stock systems, which is especially beneficial when using high stall converters or for towing applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from aluminum with a tube and fin core design, this cooler has a natural finish and measures 12 inches wide, 5 inches high, and 0.75 inch deep. The unit comes complete with rubber hoses, clamps, and a mounting kit for easy installation.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with 3/8-inch hose barb fittings and includes all necessary mounting hardware. Some minor adaptation may be needed depending on the vehicle setup, but no extensive modifications or drilling are typically required.
