Your truck’s tailgate liner tends to limit its practicality due to its corrugated surface. This tailgate panel is designed to replace the stock liner transforming your tailgate into a completely flat surface. In doing so, this panel allows you to use your tailgate for a wide range of functions for both work and leisure. Additionally, this panel comes with built-in cup holders on both ends of the tailgate so you can enjoy a cold beverage when you’re out on the field.
Robust Build Quality. This tailgate panel starts as a sheet of 3/16-inch thick aluminum, making it quite robust and corrosion-resistant without getting too heavy. This aluminum sheet is then precision-cut to exact measurements of your tailgate, ensuring an OE fit. Likewise, the included cup holders are molded from high-quality automotive-grade plastic, making them highly resistant to deterioration. Finally, this panel receives a durable black powder coat finish for sleek looks and additional corrosion protection.
Convenient Install Procedure. This tailgate panel uses factor install points on the tailgate as its mounting location. No additional drilling or other modifications are necessary. That said, it’s a good idea to clean the tailgate’s sheet metal after removing the factory liner. This is to prevent any large dirt particles from getting trapped in between the panel and the metal which can potentially cause damage. Also, installation is accomplished using just standard hand tools.
