Superior Filtration. Each cold air intake provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaMax® technology. SynthaMax® is a non-woven synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze "performance" filters just can't capture. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaMax® can capture particulates down to 2 microns in size. Best of all, this filter is washable and doesn't need to be oiled, which will save you time and money.
CARB D-609-7 Certified. Best of all, the Airaid Intake with the Red Filter for the 2009-2010 5.4L, 2010-2012 5.4L and 6.2L SVT Raptor, 2011-2012 5.0L and 6.2L F-150s is 50-state smog legal under Carb EO # D-609-7.
