This system replaces your restrictive factory intake kit for an estimated 6 horsepower gains and a 10.70 pound-feet torque increase, thanks to the enhanced airflow. It is designed to deliver more oxygen for a more efficient power-generating combustion for reinforced acceleration and fuel economy.
Calibration Not Required. Airaid built the Jr. Intake Tube Kit with Red SynthaMax Dry Filter to improve the performance of your EcoBoost without the need to reprogram your ECU. By utilizing the state-of-the-art computer-aided designs, this intake system will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram your vehicle’s ECU to get the best possible performance from this intake.
High-Quality SynthaMax Air Filter. This Jr. Intake Tube Kit includes a red, premium air filter made from high-quality dry synthetic filter media for convenient oil-free performance. It can be used for up to 500,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions before cleaning is needed. It is also designed for an excellent filtration capacity with its layered structure. Additionally, its pleated configuration enables high dust holding capacity to trap the contaminants for improved performance.
Simple, No-Drill Upgrade. Airaid designed this Jr. Intake Tube with a custom fit specific to your vehicle. It seamlessly fits the other under-the-hood components and is easy to install with no drilling required.
