It does so via the addition of a huge air inlet that provides a steady, free-flowing supply of cold air. This results in increased airflow, horsepower, and torque.
Say Goodbye to Tuning. No additional tuning is needed when you install the Airaid Cold Air Intake System in your Silverado. The tuning has been done for you, so you only need to install this on your Silverado for a better off-road experience.
Superior Filter Performance. The SynthaFlow Oiled Filter is ideal for driving on dusty, dry conditions. It is made from multi-layered high-flow cotton gauze and the finest synthetic materials to trap the smallest particles of dirt for maximum filtration. Not only that, it is also washable and reusable, making for a cost-effective upgrade for your ride.
Premium Build. This cold air intake kit utilizes a mandrel-formed crosslink polyethylene inlet piping for increased durability and strength. The inlet tube is finished in a black powder coat that adds style while improving air flow and protecting it from harsh outdoor elements.
Super Efficient CAD. Panels in this Cold Air Intake Kit help guide in supplying steady, free-flowing cooler air from the outside to your ride’s engine. The panels also protect the air filter from hot engine air by closing off the underside of the hood using blade-style weather stripping. The CAD mounts in the location of the factory air box and is compatible with any factory cold air inlet duct.
