High Flow Filter. The Airaid Black Cold Air Dam Intake w/ Red SynthaMax Dry Filter is made from a black textured tubing with a 9-inch high flow filter that will provide your engine with the air flow it needs and protection from small particles. This intake system comes with a feature known as Cold Air Dam panels, which will block out engine heat and only allow for the flow of cool air. In addition, the system comes with SynthaMax technology that will filter particles down to 2 microns in size.
Simple and Fast Installation. If you do not want to spend a ton of time on installation, you will be happy to know that the Airaid Black Cold Air Dam Intake w/ Red SynthaMax Dry Filter only requires about one hour of install time. The kit comes with all of the hardware and tools needed to install.

Application. This black Airaid Cold Air Dam Intake with the red SynthaMax Dry Filter is specifically designed to fit on the 1997 to 2003 F-150s powered by the 5.4L V8 engine. It's not compatible on the SVT Lightning and the 2002-2003 Harley Davidson models.
