Additionally, this component features a novel 2-piece design, providing you with several customization options so you’re able to create a style truly your own.
Durable Build Quality. This hood scoop comes in a unique 2-piece configuration and is constructed from high-quality ABS plastic for maximum durability and resistance to deterioration over time. This component is then made using a high-tech machine-forming process and features an eye-catching satin black finish to give your truck a sleek style. What’s more, this satin finish can easily be painted over to color-match it to your truck. More importantly, this component’s 2-piece design allows you to paint one or both pieces to give your truck a unique style accent.
No Frills Install Procedure. This hood scoop comes pre-equipped with 3M automotive-grade, double-sided adhesive backing tape that’s used in conjunction with the included polyurethane adhesive. No cutting or drilling to your truck is needed. That said, it is advised that you should thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surfaces first before applying the included adhesive promoter. Furthermore, please warm-up the mounting surfaces with a heat gun, hairdryer, or by running your engine. This is because the adhesive tape is more effective on surfaces with a temperature of around 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Finally, if you plan on painting the hood scoop to do so before installing make the process more efficient.
