Description
Next-Level Factory Style. Upgrade the look of your Silverado 1500’s factory front bumper with the Air Design Unpainted Front Bumper Guard. This bumper guard combines a chiseled design and an OE-grade fit to transform your factory front bumper from plain to radical. What’s more, this bumper guard’s resilient construction offers added protection against minor impacts.
Daytime Running Lights Included. Besides giving your truck a radical new style, this bumper guard also includes a pair of DRLs that’s positioned next to your truck’s factory fog lights. These DRLs get their illumination from advanced Osram LED chips capable of producing intense white light. This feature makes your truck’s front end much more conspicuous to other motorists, especially when making an emergency roadside stop.
Resilient Build Quality. This front bumper guard gets its durability from its premium polyurethane construction, which also makes this component extremely resistant to deterioration. Moreover, this bumper guard undergoes a high-tech machine-forming process, ensuring an accurate fit when installed. Lastly, this assembly features an unpainted finish, allowing you to custom-paint it to match your truck’s body color.
No Frills Install Procedure. This front bumper guard installs onto your Silverado right below the main grille using a combination of 3M automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape, polyurethane adhesive, and included push pins. Minor drilling is needed to allow the installation of the push pins as well as to create access for the DRLs’ harnesses. You will also need to perform some wiring work to connect the DRLs with your truck’s electrical system. Furthermore, it is suggested that you paint this component before installation to enable a more efficient process.
