AFE’s power testing shows that this air intake system provides an estimated increase of 18 horsepower and 23 pound-feet of torque gains to the wheels. This intake system comes with a performance air filter, durable aluminum intake tube, a high-strength heat shield, and premium installation components.
Recalibration Not Required. AFE designed this Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake to operate using the factory tune without reprogramming your Silverado’s computer. AmericanTrucks, however, still recommends a custom tune to reprogram your ECU to experience the best possible performance from this upgrade.
High-Quality Air Filter. This Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake Kit comes with a multi-layer air filter. The progressively finer cotton gauze of this Pro 5R Oiled Filter exhibits premium filtration capacity, and the evenly-spaced pleats offer superior dust holding capacity. This filter allows maximum airflow for enhanced air dynamics. In addition, the pliable polyurethane flange with integrated bumps ensures a tight, no-leak seal over the life of the filter.
Efficient Components and Durable Construction. AFE guarantees the high quality of this Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake System by using mandrel-bent, brushed aluminum intake tube. This 3.50-inch pipe directs the cooler, denser air into the engine’s throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The high-strength heat shield effectively blocks the air intake kit against the hotter air around the engine. Each of the component, including the hardware is built for high performance and improved service life.
Direct-Fit Installation. Intended for a straightforward installation, this Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake reuses your Silverado’s factory mounting locations. The installation process completes with light to moderate mechanical skills.
Limited Warranty. Advanced Flow Engineering, Inc. warrants its intake systems to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies if the intake system was installed in an AFE recommended application according to AFE installation instructions, with the air filter properly cleaned using AFE cleaning solution and oil.
