      Description

      Keep Your Oil Cool. Excessive heat on your rear axle can cause its gear oil to break down faster, potentially leading to premature wear and even axle failure in extreme cases. Prevent excessive heat with the AFE Pro Series Rear Differential Cover with Machined Fins; Black; AAM 9.5/9.76. This rear differential cover is designed to work with your AAM 9.5/9.76 rear axle and features all-aluminum construction, specialized outer cooling fins, and increased oil capacity. These features combine to provide better lubrication and more efficient cooling of your rear axle. Similarly, a magnetic drain and fill plug keeps your gears protected from metallic particles, helping extend their service life. This axle cover also features an oil level sight glass for easy monitoring of axle oil levels.

      Brawny Build Quality. This AAM 9.5/9.76 differential is precision cast from high-quality aluminum alloy, making the unit extremely brawny, lightweight, and more thermally efficient. The resulting differential cover is then machined to exact specifications, giving the unit its distinct cooling fins and precise fit. Finally, this cover receives a durable black powder coating for added corrosion protection and fierce looks.

      Efficient Install Procedure. This differential cover is designed to replace your AAM 9.5/9.76 axle’s cover without the need for modifications. You will need about 3-1/2 quarts of axle oil to replace the drained oil. Other than this, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
