Description
High Performance Fuel System. The AFE DFS780 Fuel System offers full-time operation that helps maintain consistent fuel delivery for diesel engines. Designed to optimize fuel delivery under all operating conditions, it supports reliable engine performance and durability. This system is ideal for maintaining efficiency, power, and longevity in heavy-duty diesel trucks.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with a billet 6061-T6 aluminum manifold for superior strength and elimination of porosity issues, it features durable bronze helical spur gears for quieter running and contamination resistance. The motor is “marine grade,” providing protection against dust and powerful water jets. Viton seals ensure compatibility with diesel and biodiesel fuels, while a clear polycarbonate sight glass allows easy visual inspection of fuel flow.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a typical time of about two hours. It requires no drilling thanks to a direct bolt-on steel mounting bracket that uses existing vehicle frame holes. The included wiring harness features Deutsch weather-proof connectors for a plug-and-play setup.
Application. Designed specifically for 2011-2016 GMC Sierra 2500 HD models equipped with the 6.6L Duramax diesel engine, ensuring precise fitment and optimal performance without modifications.
