Complete stock intake.


Disconnect negative terminal from battery. Remove the four Phillips screws securing the top of the air box. Disconnect the MAF sensor.


Loosen the hose clamp connecting the MAF sensor to the airbox. Remove upper portion of the airbox and MAF sensor. Carefully set to the side for later use.


Grab the lower portion of the airbox then lift up and out. The box is secured with rubber gromets.


Remove the four 10mm bolts that secure the airbox base to the chassis. Save bolts for later use. Remove airbox tray out of vehicle.


Place the air filter adaptor inside the housing. Secure the adaptor with the supplied screws and washers.


Install housing into vehicle using factory hardware removed from step 6. On some models the horn bracket must be bent forward slightly for housing scoop clearance. Use the (2) longer O.E. screws near the fender and (1) short screw at the forward location.


NOTE: CHECK HOUSING HOOD CLEARANCE BEFORE CONTINUING ON WITH KIT INSTALLATION. IF HOOD CLEARANCE IS AFFECTED LOOSEN TWO SCREWS ON RADIATOR OVERFLOW BRACKET. LOWER BRACKET AND TIGHTEN SCREWS. GO BACK TO STEP 8.


Install MAS using supplied clamps and reducer coupler (05-00020). Do not tighten clamps at this time.


Place straight coupler (05-00421) on throttle body and elbow coupler (05-00763) on tube. Slide tube onto throttle body coupler. Attach elbow to MAS. Tighten clamps. Rotate fan to ensure sufficient clearance.


Install filter into housing. Reconnect the MAS.


Install housing cover onto box using supplied button head screws.


Place enclosed CARB EO sticker on a clean/smooth surface on or near the intake system. EO identification label is required in passing the Smog Check Inspection. Your installation is now complete. Re-check after a few hours of operation. Make sure all clamps are tight and that all electrical components are secure.
