More Power and Torque. Give your F-150 a boost in performance with the help of this AFE Quantum Cold Air Intake With Pro DRY S Filter in Black. It features a dyno-tuned intake tube, which work together to improve airflow by up to 31%. Meanwhile, the progressive 3-layer filter ensures that your engine gets a big load of clean, oxygen-filled air. These, in turn, lead to an increase of up to 10 horsepower and up to 9 pound-feet of torque. You’ll also notice big improvements in your F-150’s throttle response.
Doesn’t Require a Custom Tune. This cold air intake doesn’t need an after-installation tuning. However, if your F-150 has multiple upgrades, a custom tune would be beneficial as it will guarantee optimum performance.
Progressive 3-Layer Oil-Free Filter. To make sure that your engine gets its fill of clean air, AFE included a washable and reusable 3-layer, oil-free filter in this kit. The 3 layers of synthetic media get progressively finer, ensuring that even the smallest contaminants are filtered out. In addition, the filter is enclosed in a heavy-duty roto-molded housing to protect against engine bay heat. The base of the housing, meanwhile, has a built-in multi-angle velocity stack to help enhance airflow.
Cross-Linked Polyethylene Inlet Pipe. This cold air intake features a dyno-tuned inlet tube made from cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). This material is known for its excellent heat soak resistance, thus giving your engine a supply of much cooler air. XLPE is also extremely durable, so this intake tube is sure to last for years. Finally, because of the tube’s minimal bends, you’ll get much faster and smoother airflow.
Hassle-Free Installation. AFE designed this intake system for a direct fit. It uses the factory mounting points and doesn’t require any cutting, drilling, or welding. The estimated completion time of installation is about 1 hour.
Covered by a 2-Year Limited Warranty. AFE cold air intake systems are covered by a 2-year warranty against material and workmanship defects.
