Pre-Oiled Cotton Filter. Providing superior filtration is the Quantum Pro 5R Air Filter this system comes with. This pre-oiled, conical filter comes with 5 layers of progressively finer cotton that ensures even microscopic debris can’t penetrate your engine.
Cross-Linked Polyethylene Intake Tube. The intake tube provided in this kit is made from a special XLPE or a cross-linked polyethylene material. This is a chemical and moisture-resistant material that also exhibits impressive heat-resistance. With this construction, you are assured that the airflow going in for combustion remains insulated from the heat of the engine bay.
Complete Installation Package. Even if you have zero mechanical skills, you don’t have to be intimidated by the idea of a DIY installation. The kit contains everything you could possibly need and the tools required are pretty much simple hand tools found in every garage.
Backed by AFE’s 2-Year Warranty. AFE warrants the AFE Quantum Cold Air Intake with Pro 5R Oiled Filter against material and workmanship defects for a period of 2 years. However, this non-transferrable warranty does not cover damages from installation mistakes, abuse, unauthorized repairs, accidents, and shipping.
No CARB Certification. The AFE Quantum Cold Air Intake with Pro 5R Oiled Filter is not CARB-certified. Therefore, it’s not legal for street use in California and other states adopting the same strict emission standards.
