      Enhanced Transmission Cooling. The AFE Pro Series Transmission Pan with Machined Fins in black for AODE/4R70W transmissions is engineered to significantly improve cooling performance. Internal and external fins transfer heat from the transmission fluid to the ambient air, while increasing fluid capacity by an additional two quarts to reduce operating temperatures and extend transmission life. This upgrade is essential for maintaining transmission performance and durability under heavy-duty or demanding driving conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from durable A356 aluminum with reinforced ribs, this pan ensures maximum strength and longevity. It features a black powder-coated finish combined with machined fins, providing both robust protection and a sleek, modern look ideal for performance-focused vehicles.

      Installation. The pan includes all necessary hardware for a direct bolt-on installation with no drilling or modifications required. It is compatible with the factory transmission filter and includes a new gasket to guarantee a secure and leak-free fit.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1997-2008 Ford F-150 V8 models equipped with the AODE/4R70W transmission, ensuring precise fitment and compatibility.
