These headers are designed with 4-to-1 formed collectors that are very efficient in lowering the turbulence while vastly improving your exhaust velocity. In addition, these headers have tube lengths that are optimized to produce the same exhaust flow advantages. With these headers installed on your ride, you’re guaranteed to get a monstrous performance that will beat all competitors.
Dual, High-Flow Catalytic Converters. AFE’s Twisted Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers make use of 400 CPSI (cell per square inch) catalytic converters. These dual high-flow converters are here to facilitate better exhaust flow that will definitely produce a great overall boost in your engine’s performance.
Expert Design and Superior Construction. These Twisted Long Tube Headers are manufactured using only the best and toughest materials. Featuring a 1-5/8-inch thick, 16-gauge, mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel construction, these headers are guaranteed to provide unrestricted gas flow to your engine. These headers are entirely MIG-welded during construction to ensure strength and durability that allows it to survive when pitted against harsh conditions. In addition, these twisted long tube headers are equipped with one-piece flanges that are 3/8 in. thick to ensure a 100% leak-free seal that will a last a lifetime. To top these off, the Y-pipes for these headers feature a 2-to-1 mitered merge collector that’s very efficient in removing the restrictions in the exhaust gas flow.
Not Certified by CARB. NOT CARB Certified, these headers are illegal for use in California or on any vehicle that is registered under the California Department of Motor Vehicle. In addition, these headers should be used strictly for racing competition only and should never be utilized for street, highway, or non-racing off-road driving.
