These headers also come with 2-to-1 mitered merge collectors to reduce turbulence while increasing your engine’s gas flow. With these installed on your vehicle, you’re guaranteed to get a remarkable 18 horsepower increase and 26 torque gains that are sure going to come in handy during performance rides.
Includes High-Flow Catalytic Converters. These Twisted 304 Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers are equipped with semi-metallic 400 CPSI catalytic converters. These dual, high-flow converters are engineered to maximize your engine’s exhaust flow in order to deliver an optimized performance.
Solid Build and Expert Design. The AFE Twisted 304 Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers are constructed of 16-gauge 304 stainless steel that’s 1-3/4-inch thick. The primary tubes and Y-pipe are mandrel-bent to ensure an unrestricted exhaust gas flow. In addition, these headers are MIG-welded to maximize strength and durability that will stand up to extreme conditions. Lastly, AFE’s twisted long tube headers are equipped with OE-style flanges to guarantee a 100% leak-free design.
Not CARB Certified. Without a CARB certification, these headers are not legal for use in California or on any vehicle that is registered in the California Department of Motor Vehicle. These headers are allowed for racing competition use only, and in no circumstance should be used for non-racing purposes, street, or highway driving.
Application. You can install AFE’s Twisted 304 Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers on all 5.3L Chevrolet Silverado 1500 models released between 2014 and 2018.
