Description
Stronger Operating Engine. You'll enjoy more power and a more capable truck when you rely on this AEM Brute Force cold air intake. That's because it removes the restrictive paper filter your truck comes with and replaces it with a free-flowing intake to bring rich cool air to your engine. The intake helps your truck increase it's HP and torque and will make it possible to tow more, haul with increased force and accelerate quicker.
A Computer Tune isn't Mandatory. While AEM does recommend tuning your truck for the best possible performance after installing this intake, it doesn't have to be done. Some intake systems require a computer tune up, but this one works just fine with the stock computer settings. Put it on and you get a power increase. Tune it up and you get even more major benefits.
Effective Reusable Filtering Power. The AEM Brute Force cold air intake comes with a reusable air filter that's good for up to 100,000 miles before it needs washing in the right conditions. It can be reused again and again and features synthetic oiled fabric filter media that captures particles effectively.
6061 Aluminum and Stainless Steel.This AEM Brute Force cold air intake is made from a combination of 6061 aluminum, stainless steel and rubber for long-term performance. The intake tube is made from carefully bent 6061 Aluminum for a free-flowing intake that's corrosion resistant. The clamps and hardware used in the kit is made from stainless steel for a durable hold.
Install it Fast. This cold air intake kit goes on quickly and easily with the right experience. The installation requires no special tools and all the hardware is included for this bolt-on procedure.
Lifetime Warranty. AEM is so confident in their cold air intake system that it is covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
Legal Performance. Thanks to CARB E.O. # D-670-15 this kit is usable in most of the 50 states without issue. It's clean and safe to use in most areas legally.
Application. This AEM Polished Brute Force Cold Air Intake System is specifically designed to fit the 2001 to 2003 F-150 SVT Lightning with the supercharged 5.4L V8 engine and does not require re-tuning the vehicles computer for operation.
