Description
Improve Your Off-Roading Experience. Off-roading can be tough on your 3500 HD Sierra’s stock suspension, that's why you need a lift kit that was specifically designed to take on the great outdoors. Luckily, this Rough Country Suspension Lift Kit features a non-torsion drop design that keeps everything tucked up for increased ground clearance allowing you to drive over boulders, fallen logs, and other obstacles found on the trail. With 5-inches of lift, this kit can accommodate tires up to 35 x 12.5 in size mounted on 22-inch wheels. This Lift Kit features lifted steering knuckles as well as fabricated steel lift blocks. What’s more, the included V2 Monotube Shocks provide a highly comfortable ride, even when tested across rough terrain.
V2 Monotube Shocks. The included nitrogen-charged V2 Monotube shocks are built with a T6061 brushed aluminum body and boast a 36kN tensile strength. They also feature an internal floating piston, as well as a 46mm high-flow piston. Thanks to their high-quality construction, they’re capable of dissipating heat at a fast rate and provide a consistent road damping performance all year round.
Lifted Steering Knuckles. Rough Country includes a set of heavy duty replacement steering knuckles in their 5-inch Suspension Lift Kit. These lifted steering knuckles are manufactured from iron for superior strength. The knuckles are designed to increase ride height while keeping all components at the optimum angles for a factory-like ride.
Fabricated Lift Blocks. The fabricated Rear Lift Blocks include in this Rough Country Lift Kit have been laser cut, CNC formed and welded from high grade steel for superior strength and extra rigidity. The components are then completed in a durable black powder coat finish for long lasting corrosion resistance.
Skid Plate and Crossmembers. Both the front and rear crossmembers and skid plate are constructed from steel plate for superior strength. The skid plate will protect the front differential from rocks and obstacles, while the crossmembers will provide additional strength to the chassis.
No Welding Required. Rough Country engineered their Lift Kit to be installed with no welding needed, making it a bolt-on kit. However, it should be noted that cutting and drilling is required for installation. With all the necessary hardware included, this Lift kit can be installed in about 8 to 10 hours time, so you'll be back on the road in a day. An alignment will be required after installation.
