Hey, guys. Joe from AmericanTrucks. And today we're gonna be working with the Rightline Gear Truck Bed Air Mattress fitting all '99 and newer Silverado 1500s. This is going to be the perfect option for the Silverado owner that's looking to catch some Zs in the back of their truck with an air mattress that's comfortable, cost-effective, and fits perfectly. So, what do we have going on with the Rightline Gear truck bed air mattress? Well, if you've ever slept on an air mattress before, this is going to be pretty standard stuff. We got that nice comfortable flocked surface up here, this is made out of durable PVC and you got those O-beams in there which are nice and supportive just about as supportive as an air mattress can get. This also has some nice features for convenience as well. This includes a bag which is going to fit this perfectly and also the pump. This pump is included. It's a nice 12-volt pump. It makes it a little bit more convenient when you have to blow this up on the spot as this plugs right into the cigarette lighter on your truck. This air mattress is designed to give you the most amount of real estate when you're sleeping in the bed of your truck, it's wide enough that it hits both of the wheel wells back here and even overhangs the tailgate a little bit on the short bed to give you the most amount of real estate possible. All in all, this is about six and a half inches thick when fully blown up. So, you get some nice cushioning as well. Rightline Gear does claim that this can sleep two adults. Albeit pretty tightly, it is going to be a little bit of a squeeze to get two people onto this thing comfortably. Now, to get the most out of this setup, you wanna pair this with the Rightline Gear truck tent to get some coverage and shelter from the weather. That's gonna cost you around 175 bucks. But as far as just this air mattress setup goes, we're looking at around 85 bucks which is one heck of a deal for an air mattress like this one that's a perfect fit. Standard quality, exactly what you'd expect. And it even comes with a pump. You are getting a lot for your 85 bucks there. Also included in that price is going to be a one-year warranty from the Rightline. Now, as far as the install goes, definitely a one out of three wrenches for the air mattress here, at most this should take you about 10-15 minutes to get fully set up like I have it right here. The only tool required is going to be the pump which does come included in the kit. So, without any further ado, let me show you how it's done. So, first step here your mattress is going to come in a bag like this one. It's got a drawstring over here so we're just gonna loosen that up and get this thing out. I'm just gonna toss the bag aside for now. The mattress will look something like that. We're just gonna open it up in the bed of our truck. At this point, it might be a good idea to lay a tarp down but you definitely wanna make sure that the bed of your truck is nice and clean before you open this up. So, like I said earlier, this mattress comes with its own pump as well. On the side here you have inflate, on the top you have deflate. You also get some of these nozzles which pop right on. I'm gonna go for the largest one to create a good seal and that's gonna go on just like that. Now, we're just gonna unscrew the cap right here, this is where we're gonna blow it up with the pump. If for some reason you can't use the pump, it breaks, you don't have power, you can always blow this thing up as well, but we're gonna use the pump here. It's concluded so why not? So, we're just gonna go over to the truck, turn on our accessories, and plug this into the cigarette lighter. So, the most convenient spot to plug that in is going to be in the back seat. That's gonna give us the most amount of wire possible. Now, we're gonna turn the truck on to give this thing some power. Now, that's gonna give us just enough wire for the pump to reach our fill port. We're just gonna put the two together and make a nice seal and turn on our pump. Now, all in all, this thing only takes about a minute or two to fully inflate, but once you have this firm enough and where you want it to be, this one-way valve is gonna hold all that air in and you could close that up. So, to deflate this thing, all we're going to do is open up the valve here and I'm just gonna push the seal open. And you can see it's going pretty slow right now. So, what we're actually gonna do is you can take the nozzle and move that to the air inlet side on the top of the pump to take all the air out. So, at the end there, you could hear the pump start to work pretty hard, so that's how we know we're pretty much empty here. Just gonna put that aside and fold up the air mattress. That's gonna do it for my review and install of the Rightline Gear Truck Bed Air Mattress fitting all '99 and newer Silverado 1500s. Thank you for watching. I'm Joe.
