Easy Install Procedure. These front and rear window deflectors feature 3M automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape, making their installation an easy peel-and-stick Install. That said, the mounting areas will need to be cleaned with a lint-free rag moistened with alcohol to maximize adhesion of the tape to your truck. What’s more, when mounting these window deflectors in cold weather, it’s best to warm up the mounting surfaces prior to installation as the adhesive tends to work best on warm surfaces. This can be accomplished with a hairdryer or heat gun.
