Description
High-Quality Twin Disc Organic Clutch Kit. The McLeod RST Twin Disc clutch kit is designed specifically for use with flat flywheels featuring a 10-spline input shaft. It offers a torque capacity of 800 ft-lbs at the crank, tailored to demanding street applications on LS engine platforms. The clutch provides smooth and consistent engagement for enhanced drivability while handling increased torque loads reliably.
Durable Construction. This kit includes organic-lined twin discs measuring 9.687 inches in diameter, paired with a diaphragm-style pressure plate for consistent performance and heat resistance. Precision manufacturing ensures compatibility only with LS1 and LS6 flat style flywheels, explicitly excluding recessed flywheels used in LS2, LS3, and LS7 engines, to maintain proper fit and function.
Installation. Installation follows standard clutch replacement procedures. Use proper alignment pins to secure the pressure plate for structural integrity. Flywheel resurfacing is recommended to prevent chatter and ensure smooth engagement.
Warranty and Application. This product comes with a 90-day limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. It fits 1997–2013 LS-X applications with a requirement to use LS1/LS6 flat style flywheels for compatibility.
