Description
Let Your HEMI Breathe. This K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake allows denser, more oxygen-rich air to be forced into your engine’s combustion chambers, resulting in improved combustion, which gives more power and torque, improved mileage, and a throatier exhaust note. K&N Dyno testing before and after the addition of this kit resulted in more than 10 additional horsepower and more than 12 foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels when tested on a 2009 Dodge RAM 1500.
Filtration is Key. The large diameter high-flow conical oiled cotton air filter is critical to a successful cold air intake. Fresh air drawn into the engine from outside the engine bay also includes moisture and debris; to prevent costly damage, K&N relies on 60 years of experience with washable filters that excel in protecting your engine while remaining a lifetime serviceable part.
K&N: Industry-Leading Performance. This bolt-on kit replaces the restrictive OEM intake and replaces it with a mandrel-bent polished aluminum intake tube to increase the volume of airflow to your engine. A custom heat shield helps to protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes. The kit contains everything needed to retain the OEM air temperature sensor and crankcase ventilation tube.
Made in the USA. An increase in power is guaranteed, and the kit also comes with a 10-Year, Million-Mile warranty from K&N. Cleaning the filter is necessary every 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions.
Application. This K&N 77 Series Cold Air Intake kit fits all 2013-2018 RAM 2500 models with the 5.7L HEMI Engine. This kit may not fit lifted trucks.
