Description
Keep Your Engine Sludge-Free. The positive crankcase ventilator (PCV) valving system in your Tahoe can inadvertently include vaporized oil as it vents crankcase pressure back into your intake. These oil vapors can accumulate over time into engine sludge, which can ultimately rob your engine of performance. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator changes all this by trapping these oil vapors and collecting them in its catch can, preventing the formation of this troublesome engine sludge.
Unique Design. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator uses a unique filtering system that consists of a fine stainless steel mesh and an aluminum honeycomb filter. These 2 components work together to trap and condense vaporized oil. The condensed oil is then collected in its catch can, where it stays till it's time to be emptied. This oil separator’s catch can come with a 3-ounce capacity, which is good for about 3,000 miles before requiring emptying.
Tough Aluminum Build Quality. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator is manufactured from billet aluminum. This oil separator is CNC-milled for superior structural integrity. An included O-ring prevents leaks, while a knurled base makes opening the catch easy, even when it’s oily. Lastly, this oil separator is finished in natural satin for a nice look under your hood.
Effortless, No-Mod Installation. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator installs effortlessly in your truck and requires no modifications. This oil separator uses hoses that have a push-lock system, eliminating the need for clamps. Installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
