The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch inlet and 2.50-Inch outlet delivers a deep, aggressive exhaust sound ideal for high horsepower vehicles. It combines signature Flowmaster sound with excellent performance and low interior driver resonance to enhance the driving experience.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16 gauge aluminized steel with full MIG welding, this muffler ensures durability and longevity. It features a black high-temperature paint finish that resists heat and corrosion, maintaining its visual appeal over time.
_x000D_Installation. Designed for universal fitment, installation requires moderate modification with slip-fit connections for ease of attachment. No drilling is typically necessary. It uses new hangers which are not included, so hanger adaptation may be needed.
_x000D_Application. Fits a wide range of vehicles including 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip applications, and trucks/SUVs. Universal fitment requires some adaptation to specific vehicle configurations.
