The Flowmaster Original 40 Series Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 3-inch inlet and 2.50-inch outlet delivers an aggressive exhaust tone favored by muscle car and off-road enthusiasts. Designed to enhance both exterior and interior sound, it provides a distinct resonant exhaust note ideal for street, strip, and off-road use.

Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. It features a high-temperature black paint finish that adds corrosion resistance and a premium look suitable for classic and late-model vehicles.

Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills to clamp or weld the muffler to existing exhaust piping. The slip-fit design eliminates the need for drilling and the muffler mounts using new hangers, which are not included.
