Race-Grade Performance. The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Force Center/Center Race Muffler 3-Inch Inlet/3-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver an aggressive sound with excellent power characteristics. Designed specifically for racing applications where mufflers are required, it provides a significant reduction in decibel levels compared to open headers, ensuring optimal performance and track compliance.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable, fully welded 16 gauge 409 stainless steel, this two-chamber muffler is finished with a high-temperature black paint coating. The oval body measures 9 inches in length, 8 inches in width, and 4 inches in height, offering robust build quality and endurance under extreme conditions.

Installation. This muffler fits universally but requires some moderate adaptation for installation. It features slip-fit, clamp-on, or weld-on inlet and outlet connections. No drilling is necessary; however, new hangers are required and are not included with the muffler.

Application. Suitable for universal applications, this muffler is ideal for classic and late-model muscle cars as well as racing and street/strip vehicles where performance mufflers are desired.
