Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster Super 40 Series Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler with a 3-inch inlet and 2.50-inch outlets delivers an aggressive, deep exhaust tone optimized for high horsepower vehicles. It features Delta Flow® technology for improved exhaust flow and reduced interior drone, making it ideal for street and strip applications where performance and unique sound are paramount.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This muffler is constructed from durable 16-gauge 409 stainless steel with fully MIG welded joints to ensure structural integrity and corrosion resistance. It is finished with black high-temperature paint that resists heat and preserves the muffler’s appearance under demanding conditions.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires some adaptation since the muffler is designed for universal fitment. It features a slip-fit center inlet and dual outlet connections. Clamp-on or weld-on installation methods may be used. New hangers are necessary but not included.
