Description
Performance Enhancement. The Flowmaster 50 Series HD Dual In/Dual Out Oval Muffler with 2.50-Inch Inlet and 2.50-Inch Outlet is engineered to improve horsepower, torque, and overall engine efficiency. It delivers a deeper, moderate tone with minimal resonance, making it ideal for heavy duty gas and diesel trucks with modified engines. This muffler enhances throttle response and can contribute to improved fuel mileage.
Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16 gauge 409S stainless steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and durability. It is finished with high-temperature paint that provides resistance to heat and corrosion while maintaining an attractive black appearance. The oval shape and chambered design optimize exhaust flow for enhanced performance and sound control.
Installation. Installation requires some adaptation as this muffler uses slip-fit inlet and outlet connections with clamp-on or weld-on options. New hangers are necessary but not included. This universal fit muffler is designed to fit most vehicles without the need for drilling.
