The Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow Center/Center Oval Muffler with 3-inch inlet and 3-inch outlet is designed to enhance exhaust flow and deliver an aggressive sound ideal for street and strip use. Using unique Delta Flow technology, it improves engine performance by increasing scavenging and reducing interior resonance, providing a better driving experience.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Manufactured from durable 16 gauge aluminized steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. It sports a high-temperature black paint finish that resists heat and corrosion, giving it a sleek and rugged look.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. The muffler uses slip-fit inlet and outlet connections compatible with clamp-on or weld-on applications. Installation requires moderate skills but no drilling; however, new hangers are required and are not included.
