The Fabtech 3-Inch Ball Joint Upper Control Arm Lift Kit with Stealth Shocks is the suspension lift you want if you’re looking to add ground clearance to your RAM 1500 without drastically altering its handling and ride quality. This lift kit provides your truck with 3 inches of overall lift, which enables your truck to negotiate more involved off-road trails. This extra clearance also enables you to run 35-inch wide tires that definitely help with performance. Best of all, this kit provides lift without altering suspension geometry and ride quality so you don’t miss out on everyday drivability.
Rear Stealth Shock Absorbers. This suspension lift kit features Fabtech’s Stealth shocks which replace your truck’s stock counterparts. These rear shocks combine a monotube design with vehicle specific valving to provide improved damping performance and more precise handling. Additionally, these rear shocks come with black powder coated shock bodies and piston rods for a bold blacked-out look.
Durable Upper Control Arms. The front lift is provided by a pair of durable upper control arms. These control arms are precision-crafted from high-grade tubular steel and utilize heftier ball joints for durability and consistent articulation. Moreover, these control arms feature optimized angles to eliminate binding. This design helps maintain proper steering geometry so your truck handles like it just rolled off the factory.
Heavy-Grade Rear Coil Spring Spacers. For the rear lift, this kit includes a pair of coil spring spacers machine-fabricated from heavy-grade steel. This construction offers extreme resistance to compression forces and an exact fit when installed. These spacers are then finished in a tough black powder coating for maximum rust protection.
High-Strength Upper Shock Spacers. Another method this lift kit employs to ensure factory ride quality and handling is maintained is by reusing your factory front shocks. This is achieved via a pair of fabricated steel upper shock spacers. These shock spacers offer extreme durability and are likewise finished in a wear-resistant black powder coating for superior rust protection.
Professional Installation Recommended. This lift kit will require the use of a spring compressor, as well as minor drilling. Please keep in mind that improper use of a spring compressor can be potentially hazardous. Also, this tool is not something most home garages would have and may represent an added investment on your part. If you do not have experience using this tool or are not keen on buying one, please consider professional installation.
