Hard Tri-Fold Design. The Extang Solid Fold utilizes a hard folding design. This tonneau cover’s 3 panels are engineered to resist denting and bending while being lightweight. A proprietary Jaw-Grip clamping system allows fast mounting and quick removal of this truck bed cover, providing you with a range of truck bed access options. Likewise, this tonneau cover is secured using exclusive EZ-lock clamps that engage and disengage easily. Additionally, once secured in the closed position this cover can’t be opened, ensuring the contents of your truck bed are safe. Finally, this tonneau cover utilizes a sealing system that’s engineered to fit into the grooves of your bed rail caps, providing superior weather protection.
Strong Build Quality. The Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Tonneau Cover’s panels are constructed from automotive-grade thermoplastic skins with a high-tech polypropylene foam core, resulting in a tough yet lightweight cover. These panels are mated to a frame made from ultra-strong aircraft-grade aluminum that’s powder-coat finished in black. Finally, this tonneau cover comes in a textured matte-black finish that matches your truck bed rail’s finish for an OE-style appearance.
Simple Install Procedure. Installing the Extang Solid Fold 2.0 Tonneau Cover is a simple process as the cover comes fully assembled. Mounting this cover involves essentially just positioning the assembly on your truck bed rails, and engaging the built-in clamps. Minor trimming of a portion of your truck’s bed rail cap or bed liner may be needed if these interfere with correct clamping. Other than this potential step, installation is completed tool-free.
