This front shock features a monotube gas-charged style with a robust remote reservoir. This setup is then paired with advanced velocity-sensitive digressive valving technology to give you an extremely fast damping response and superior handling performance when hitting the trails. On the highway, this shock provides a firm but comfortable ride with the same level of handling control. This way, you’re able to maintain your truck’s daily drivability.
Rugged Build Quality. This front shock is equipped with a 46mm shock body precision machined from premium alloy, offering optimal durability as well as superior heat dissipation. The piston rod for its part is made from chrome-hardened alloy, giving it the strength to take the knocks of regular off-road adventures. Finally, this front shock assembly is protected against corrosion by a rugged zinc coating and a clear top coat.
No Nonsense Install Procedure. This front shock is designed to install into your Silverado’s factory front damper location. Minor drilling may be needed to properly mount the remote reservoir. Other than this potential step, installation is a fairly no-nonsense procedure that’s completed using just standard hand tools.
