Description

The BDS 6-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with optional FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks enhances the offroad capability and overall stance of the Ford Ranger by providing significant lift and tire clearance. This kit is designed to maintain excellent on-road handling while optimizing ground clearance and suspension geometry for rugged terrain. It's ideal for those looking to improve both aesthetics and functionality of their 4WD Ranger.
Construction and Appearance. The kit features high-clearance, laser-cut 1/4-inch thick steel crossmembers for durability and strength, paired with top-mounted strut spacers and CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles that maintain ESC compatibility. Components come with corrosion-resistant finishes including powder coating for brackets and anodizing on FOX shock bodies, ensuring a long-lasting, professional appearance and rugged construction.
Installation. Installation is challenging and requires specialty tools such as a 35mm axle nut socket, air hammer, and cutoff tool. Frame bracket and differential modifications are necessary, including some cutting. For safety, disconnect the battery when using plasma cutters or similar tools.
