Description
Take On the Trails and the Highway. Take on both the trails and the highway with the BDS 4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Fox Shocks for 22XL Wheel Models. This suspension lift kit is engineered to provide 4 inches of overall lift while also leveling out the front to the rear. This added ground clearance allows you to negotiate more difficult off-road trails while looking good doing it. Additionally, this kit comes with wide bore steering knuckles, enabling you to maintain the use of your truck’s awesome factory 22-inch wheels.
High-Performance Rear Fox Shocks. This lift kit will replace your factory rear dampers with a pair of high-performance Fox shock absorbers. These shocks are designed to provide near-instantaneous damping performance, more precise handling off-road, and a smooth but firm ride on the highway. This is achieved via its monotube nitrogen gas-charged design with an internal floating piston. Moreover, these shocks feature 2-inch wide all-aluminum shock bodies for optimal heat dissipation to all but eliminate braking fade.
Robust Rear Lifted Dual Rate Coil Springs. This suspension lift kit’s 4 inches of rear lift is given by a pair of rear lifted dual-rate coil springs. These coil springs are machined from premium spring steel before getting treated for hardness and finished in a protective powder coating for optimum rust protection. What’s more, these springs come in a dual-rate design for exceptional ride comfort and support.
Rigid Lifted Wide Bore Steering Knuckles. This lift kit will lift your front by 4 inches using a pair of lifted wide bore steering knuckles. These steering knuckles are designed to maintain ideal steering geometry and handling feel by relocating their pivot points. Likewise, their wide bore design enables the use of your factory's 22-inch wheels. These knuckles are also precision-cast and CNC machined from high-quality ductile iron before getting finished in an anti-corrosion black powder coating.
Wear-Resistant Strut Spacers. This suspension lift kit will also allow you to reuse your factory struts by installing the included strut spacers. These strut spacers are machined from wear-resistant steel and are finished in the same corrosion protective black powder coating as the rest of the components from this kit.
High-Strength Front and Rear Crossmembers. To help further improve off-road performance, this lift kit includes high clearance front and rear crossmembers. These crossmembers help reinforce your frame while maintaining ideal clearance for more involved off-roading. Additionally, these crossmembers feature ideal mounting points for your stock lower control arms helping to keep excellent steering geometry. These crossmembers are also CNC-cut and formed from 0.25-inch thick steel plates and are finished in a protective black powder coating extending their service lives.
Practical Install Procedure. Installing this suspension lift kit is a relatively practical procedure that will require some drilling and cutting to ensure a proper fit. It is also ideal to have extensive mechanical knowledge as well as a complete set of tools.
