Description
Outstanding Off-Road Performance and On-Road Ride Quality. Get outstanding off-road performance while maintaining on-road ride quality when you install the BDS 4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Fox Shocks for 22XL Wheel Models. This suspension lift provides a combined front and rear lift of 4 inches while also including components designed to maintain proper steering geometry and ride comfort. These factors enable you to take on tougher off-road trails without losing daily drivability. What’s more, this kit includes wide bore steering knuckles designed for your RAM’s factory 22-inch wheels, enabling you to retain its aggressive factory style.
High-Performance Rear Fox Shocks. One of the components designed to maintain ideal handling and ride quality is a pair of high-performance Fox shock absorbers. These rear shocks feature a monotube nitrogen gas-charged design with an internal floating piston to deliver immediate damping response more accurate handling when driving off-road. On the highway, these shocks provide a firm but smooth ride quality with the same handling characteristics for excellent on-road control.
High-Strength Rear Lifted Dual Rate Coil Springs. Rear lift is provided by this suspension lift kit’s included twin lifted coil springs. These coil springs come in a dual-rate design to provide superior off-road support and on-road ride comfort. Additionally, these springs are machined from high-strength spring steel and are treated for hardness and corrosion resistance.
Rugged Lifted Wide Bore Steering Knuckles. For its front lift, this kit includes a pair of lifted steering knuckles. Unlike standard lifted knuckles, these components use a wide bore design, allowing you to maintain the use of your factory 22-inch wheels. Furthermore, these knuckles are cast from premium ductile iron and are CNC-machined to exact tolerances before receiving a protective black powder coat finish for long-lasting performance.
Heavy-Grade Strut Spacers. This lift kit includes a pair of strut spacers enabling you to keep using your factory struts, which helps maintain a factory ride quality. What’s more, these spacers are machine-cut and expertly welded from heavy-grade plate steel for strength before being finished in a protective black powder coating preventing rust.
Robust Front and Rear Crossmembers. This lift kit also comes with front and rear crossmembers featuring a high clearance style. These crossmembers help stiffen your frame without compromising your under chassis clearance helping maintain your truck’s off-road capability. Moreover, these crossmembers include mounting points for your stock lower control arms designed to maintain proper steering geometry. Lastly, these components are CNC-cut and formed from 0.25-inch thick steel plates for strength before receiving the same corrosion-resistant coating as the strut spacers and steering knuckles.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. Installing this suspension lift kit is relatively uncomplicated as it’s designed to use factory locations in your truck as the components’ mounting points. The installation will require some drilling and cutting to properly fit certain components. You will also need a complete set of tools and advanced mechanical knowledge to keep the installation moving as efficiently as possible.
