Powerful Engine Braking. The BD Power Exhaust Brake significantly enhances towing control by generating up to 150 retarding horsepower. Designed to integrate inline with the exhaust system, it allows drivers to retain use of the OEM dash button for smooth and consistent engine braking on demanding descents.
Construction and Durability. Crafted from cast iron, the exhaust brake withstands heat cycles and offers a robust design for long-lasting performance.
Installation. Installation typically requires about three hours. The kit installs inline with existing components, providing a quick and universal fit. The design eliminates the need for an air compressor, reducing maintenance and potential failure points such as freezing of airlines in winter.
Warranty. This product includes a 24-month or 24,000-mile warranty on parts and a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on labor.
Application. Designed specifically for the 2008 to 2017 6.7L RAM 3500 models, this exhaust brake requires engine tuning to maintain function and is not available for sale in California due to emissions regulations.
