It delivers quicker spool times and increased horsepower capacity, making it ideal for enthusiasts seeking to maximize engine output without complicated modifications. This turbocharger provides a seamless replacement by fitting directly into the existing stock location.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a Ballistic Billet 64.5mm compressor wheel paired with a Low MOI QST 70mm turbine wheel, this turbo is crafted from durable, high-performance materials built for longevity. The turbine wheel has a 15% lower moment of inertia, improving turbo response, and the turbine blades are trimmed 25% thinner to allow higher gas flow and greater efficiency. The assembly is VSR high-speed balanced for smooth, reliable operation under demanding conditions.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with its drop-in design requiring no additional parts or modifications. The process typically takes about five hours, with no drilling or complex adjustments needed, suitable for experienced DIYers or professional mechanics.
Warranty. This turbocharger comes with a 24-month parts warranty to provide confidence in quality and durability.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 2007.5-2012 6.7L RAM 2500 pick-up models only. Note that cab and chassis cores returned for credit will not be accepted, and the speed sensor is not included and must be transferred from the original turbo before installation.
