Description

The Banks Power Ram-Air Cold Air Intake with Oiled Filter is engineered to significantly increase airflow into the engine, enhancing power, turbo response, and fuel economy. It draws cool, dense air from multiple sources and delivers it efficiently to the 6.6L Duramax engine, supporting improved combustion and overall performance.
Construction and Appearance. This intake features a durable, heat-resistant Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) airbox designed with a smooth, organic shape for optimized airflow and cooling. The oversized "Big Ass Filter" is oiled and has a large surface area to extend service intervals. An EPDM synthetic rubber elbow with exclusive bellows accommodates engine movement without restricting airflow.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed within an hour with no drilling required, maintaining vehicle integrity and ease of maintenance.
