Description

The Apex Chassis HD Steering Kit; Box 1 of 2 is engineered to replace the factory tie rod setup on heavy-duty trucks, providing enhanced steering control and eliminating common issues like death wobble. Designed to withstand extreme conditions, this kit improves handling precision and durability, ensuring reliable performance on demanding terrain.
Construction and Appearance. The tie rod assembly is constructed from SAE 1045 solid steel with a CNC-machined housing for superior strength and longevity. It features a durable matte black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and a professional look. Aluminum variants are also available but may differ in finish and application.
Installation. The installation process is straightforward, typically requiring only basic mechanical skills without drilling or major modifications. However, modifications may be necessary if installing with dual stabilizer setups due to oversized tie rod ends. Clear instructions are provided for an efficient upgrade.
Warranty. This kit includes a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects and wear when registered within 90 days of purchase. Application. Specifically designed to fit 2014-2026 4WD RAM 2500 and 3500 models, excluding use with Rough Country dual steering stabilizer systems.
