Powered Step Bars. Make getting in and out of 2020-2023 GMC Sierra 3500 HD Double Cabs and Crew Cabs so much easier thanks to the Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards - Plug and Play. These well-built running boards not only withstand punishment, they are convenient to operate.
How They Work. In a hectic world where you're carrying the kids, your briefcase, groceries, or whatever else, these running boards deploy from under your Silverado 1500 when you open the door. These electric-powered PowerStep Running Boards then retract once the doors close.
Construction and Look. These Amp Research PowerStep Running Boards are made from aluminum and coated with a black, corrosion-resistant finish. They can handle the pressure of people climbing on them, but also look stylish on any colored Silverado.
Lights as Well. Each PowerStep Running Board features 2 LED lamps that illuminate when the door opens. The lights remain on until the running board goes back under your truck, or after 5 minutes with the doors opened.
Installation. While this is a difficult installation, it is a plug and play design. It should take between 3-5 hours to complete and if you don't feel confident in your ability to install these running boards, please consult your local mechanic.
Warranty. Amp Research offers a 5-year limited warranty on these running boards.
